I don't know... If this gets around they could lose 50% or more of their entire income from Dust from the last 3 months... That's a significant chunk of change. Either way, it's the correct response given CCP's bait and switch tactics. (I'd be asking CCP for a refund on my plane tickets to Iceland had I gone to fanfest.) What a farce.

Live chat as in text chat through their website? No idea if that will work - I only know for sure that the phone operators are giving refunds. You may have to (politely) ask for a supervisor, but I think enough people have been calling today that they will know what's up and just issue a refund for the last 90 days.

I'm doing a running total.
Around 4 players so far, 270+ USD in.
There is even talk of getting more than just the last 3 months refunded. If that happens, I suspect this number could go into the $10,000+

I'll be making that call very soon. For right now, some beers and friends will lull the rage inside me. It would be nice to see Sony refund every cent someone spent on Dust. As of now, it seems that even Sony is displeased with CCP. And you'd have to be stupid to upset Sony.
Maybe CCP needs to HTFU. They sure do a lot of caving in to the whiners.

CCP Support for Dust has ceased.
In fact, it has been on a skeleton crew for at least four months. They have continued to sell and promote as if Dust is (and will continue being) a supported game. This is just not the case. Anyone who has been purchasing aurum with the intent of supporting a game they enjoy has been defrauded. I was purchasing aurum influenced by the CCP statements at fan-fest like, "We are laser-focused on playstation 3 development" and further integration with the Eve universe. This is clearly no longer a goal of CCP. The problem, however, is that CCP continued to act as if this was the case while they shifted resources to create a game on a different platform.
When people purchase aurum, they are doing so as a long-term investment in what they consider to be a long-term game. This game is not long-term anymore, it's just a lobby shooter on it's death bed. CCP should have made their reduction in support and desire to transfer to a different system clear from day one - taking money under knowingly false conditions is tantamount to fraud.

DUST continues to function, and the items purchased with aurum continue to function within DUST.
The issue is that DUST has ceased to function as advertised as of today's fanfest announcements.
It is no longer a continually developed MMOFPS to be iterated upon through content updates over time, expanding the measure and scope of the game, interconnecting further with the New Eden universe through interaction with EVE Online and refining the "sandbox" experience.
It is now as expanded as it is ever going to get. DUST will remain in its present state, a lobby shooter with clumsy mechanics and a smattering of tie-ins with EVE Online (the only "substantial" ones being Orbitals and the requirement of an EVE character to run a DUST corp). The only future updates to the game that aren't in the pipeline right this second will be in the form of bug-fixes.
That second description is not what has been advertised TO THIS VERY DAY and it is not what people were purchasing stock in when they bought aurum.
Unless you think CCP could take customers to court/arbitration and successfully persuade the magistrate/judge/jury that purchasers were fully aware (or had opportunity to become aware) that the second description of DUST was all that was planned, then these refunds are justified in their entirety.
CALL 1-800-345-SONY. PRESS '2' AND THEN '2' AGAIN. AURUM PURCHASES CAN BE REFUNDED WITHIN 90 DAYS!

CCP devs are too drunk to really do damage control right now, but these threads are going to be deleted as they pop up once CCP sobers up, so make sure to share it on all your social media sites, youtube, blogs etc etc. We really need to push this.

Can confirm that Sony will create a refund ticket, ans that's for ALL DUST purchases spanning over a year and a half (you have to be really nice) not just 90 days. Call Sony now, then call CCP and tell them how you really feel, their phone number is listed at the bottom of http://www.ccpgames.com/en/home
