Is the fact that the vast majority of the DUST 514 Playerbase does not read the forums, and has no idea about FanFest and what happened in it.
And as such, are still spending real-life money on a game that is (in a terms of logic) dead.

CCP has stated that there will be no more meaningful content releases for DUST 514,
All of this is lost, and there isn't really any point to playing DUST besides to waste away all of your Prototype & Officer Gear (which you'll never be able to trade btw).

I agree that it did need to happen, and being a Surface owner means I can play it on the go. I'm kinda excited about EVE: Legion to be honest.
However the way CCP announced this, was utterly f***ed up.
