You scrubs don't want DUST 514 to evolve to the next gen level--with way better graphics and performance, servers that actually work (including a test server!), freedom for CCP to make it into a groundbreaking MMOFPS, larger battles, EVE integration, player economy, piracy, PVE, ability to travel through the cluster, and so much more--because you don't have a computer and/or can't bear to start a new character. Sooooo selfish. You curse CCP and act like you want to burn it down, when what they're saying to us is that they want to start over and make DUST right. They want to make it amazing and they just want to hear from us that YES that's the game we want and THANK YOU for not giving up on it. THANK YOU for having the guts and vision to start fresh on PC, having learned from experience, and make it the groundbreaking MMOFPS that it is sooo close to being.
They will help us get a running start in DUST 2 as much as they can. Complaining like the world is ending when DUST is going to be so so much better, just because you lose some precious SP or refuse to invest in a PC.....I know it's frustrating but try looking at the bigger picture just a little bit. This is how DUST lives and thrives and evolves...along with EVE and Valkyrie. Without this change DUST will die. How much room for growth is there left on the PS3 and Playstation network? Not much I'll wager. How much on PC? Limitless. |

Ummm....MAG's graphics are ancient and it's strictly a lobby shooter. Sure that can be done on PS3, but the vision for DUST is miles beyond that. For how it needs to work together with EVE and Valkyrie, for CCP to have the control to make it right, for the engine and network to be up to the task, PC is the only way. And remember, PC can easily port to PS4. |

If Dust 2 was the only reason for buying a PC yeah that might be a bit much, but it's not like having a computer that you can play Dust 2 on with low graphics settings is asking a lot. It's a computer. They're kinda common. If you're gonna get one for school or whatever spend a couple hundred more so that you can play games on it, even if not at ultimate Crysis 3 graphics level. Then BOOM you can play Dust 2. |

Limitless. what you're talking about is NOT what they're talking about. dust is just cod now. make a game that never quite 'feels' right, and then start another one.
They're not just starting another one. Pull the hay out of your head people. Slow down on that bong. The new game is an expansion and a deeper realization of DUST 514. It's what we've been waiting for. |

The PS3 is dying broseph. The kind of evolution that will make Dust way better than Destiny, etc. is not possible on PS3. And no they haven't talked about porting from PC to PS4, but it will not be a hard thing for them to do if they can and choose to. |

Legion is a new game, Dust is gone. CCP Rouge did an interview with Digital Spy where he said there will be no new updates to Dust
Prove it. Even if so then that's fine. It means the Dust I've been dreaming is not far off. |

Well devs have said that they want to do all they can to smooth players' transitions from Dust to Dust 2 but they haven't commited to anything yet because of technical issues and Sony issues. Just to hear that it's important to them is enough for me for the time being.

You don't know the whole story. For DUST to work as an MMOFPS it has to be based on PC. Once it's ready to ship they can easily port it to PS4 or Xbox. Why haven't they said yet that they will? There may be issues with Sony. There certainly must be technical issues. They very well may port it. Give that some time. They may not be able to say yet, as much as they would like to. |

The intention is not to troll (except for maybe a little oomph to get your attention). I'm supporting what I think to be a very valid position and I think it merits defending, and right now it needs defense against the all the hate getting thrown around. There's good reason for frustration, but really what other alternative do they have except to try to start on PS4? And there's no reason to believe that won't happen, considering how simple a process the port is, unless there are issues with Sony that prevent it. |

Guess time will tell. Nice troll though.
Have you seen the video? Project Legion is Dust. It upgrades and expands the game a lot but it's the same game. That's a scout carrying an assault rail rifle on a pretty familiar map. When you say persistent you mean your SP right?
