I agree with just about every sentiment so far.
You guys have been promising us the same stuff you are now putting into a new game for the past 2+ years. Some of us have stuck with you as a loyal player in hopes to see what we have been promised, what you guys supposedly had dreamed and what we all had hoped would be a great companion to EvE. Now you guys screw us all with a new product and pretty much tell your support system that you don't give a rats ass about that, about the work we put in, about the hours we put in or anything like that.
It's sad that instead of fixing one game, you guys decide to build another. Leaving a half ass finished product. If you can't finish one, what is to reassure us that you will finish this one?
Not only that, but then you abandon those on console by moving it to PC. You already have a product on PC. The purpose with Dust was to bring in console players to the EvE Universe. Now you take that away yet again.
Sadly I think CCP will lose a lot of loyal followers after this snafu. You have shown most of us that we don't matter, that we are just fodder and our voices and opinions and hours of hard work mean nothing.

Its hilarious !! That really isn't funny. I personally hate what ccp is doing with dust right now, but making a joke about someone's death is a terrible thing. When injustice came out the person who designed harly quin got death threats because she looked more human and not like a cartoon. Jokes like this can become very serious and shouldn't be taken lightly. Except it wasn't a death threat, which I agree are not something that should happen over a video game. I also agree it's not funny, but not because of the content in the joke. Jokes about anything in life is perfectly fine as long as it's an actual joke.
It was sarcasm folks.. sarcasm. If anyone took it seriously then you need to put the controllers, keyboard, mouse, etc down and get outside more. While it may not have been in good taste, it was only sarcasm, not a death threat, not an actual wanting someone dead in real life.. just a voicing of frustration on the current state of affairs and dislike for it's leadership. |

The devs have shown themselves to be nice guys and CCP is a business but they value their gamers as much as they do making money. I think it very likely that they will try to compensate people who spent real money. But bro you can't keep your BPOs. Super Dust will be too different in that aspect. Every dropsuit will be a blueprint or something. Items won't carry over exactly, but they've earned our trust enough I think to know that they will try to do something for us. People cry out betrayal but they're just doing what they have to do to make a great game that will last. No reason to think they will bite the hand that fed them.
Seriously? Do you really believe this gibberish?
Trust? What trust? The trust of promises that have fallen short? Of constant promises to fix thing, add things, etc yet these days never come?
Perhaps the trust of a working product? Not hotfixes ontop of hotfixes. Mostly because by their own words their Dev team has been busy elsewhere.
Value their gamers? That is the biggest joke. What have they done to show their gamers they have any value? Listened to the community? Implemented desperately needed components into the game?
The only thing they are going to try to do is sell you more crap via the Dust store to fund what is NOT Dust.
Anyone who thinks they will continue to update and work on Dust when they have a new project child is delusional. Especially with resources spread thin.
They could still salvage Dust by moving it to PS4, which is just as capable running their new toy as the PC. Dust doesn't have to sit on the PS3 system and rot, unless they want it to die.
They have repeatedly bitten the hand that feeds them. Perhaps you have been absent for most of the past updates of late?
This is a pre emptive move to start closing down Dust. In the process they have spat in the faces of it's supporters, fans and have decided to totally alienate their console player base because of superficial numbers that don't exist.
