It's the only way I can imagine CCP salvaging this absolute travesty they've dropped on us.
If Legion is developed on PC, then at some point ported to PS4 with the option to transfer our PS3 mercs over, then CCP will have done something that actually makes sense.
Obviously there is the possibility that this is roughly what they're planning anyway, but the fact that they never mentioned it in the address is pretty damning.

I won't do it... Not after Fanfest, it was so underhanded in my book...
Port it to PS4, include trophies, allow me to transfer my character (what's the purpose though with the progression changes?) and I still won't play it.
I may jump on the battlefield, burn through my assets, Biomass, and then waltz away while twirling a cane...

It WAS addressed.
They might, one day, port it to the ps4 after they have the pc version down packed and already successful. |
