Well I dont really think that. In the fiction segment its a code the clones smeared on walls and stuff, while going crazy. Maybe they served the "sleepers" some conciousness embedded in the first generation of the mind-transfer devices (ancient artifacts ripped from some cryo-sleeping guys in some space-ruins). And for these sleepers the number meant something special...
