As was pointed out EVE still gets new subscriptions with 10 year old characters in the game, so starting with high level players is either not a problem or it will kill the game inside two years regardless as new players gain the same level.

CCP really needs to admit their plans for transfer right now, or folks will have to assume they mean to let all your DUST toons die.

No, it's actually a matter of can we. There are technical questions and restrictions, policy questions (with Sony) and design questions (how do we convert experience when the progression system is different, items are different and ISK works in different ratios).

When we can answer the questions above, we'll share with you. Trust me when we say we want to let people carry over progress. But we just honestly don't know if we can do so yet.

This statment by CCP Logibro rings true to what Jebus McKing tweeted "CCP just killed the last thing keeping Dust alive: Hope" For years CCP has said that Dust will be fully integrated into Eve, and for 2 years hope has held us onto Dust for that to happen. Now, we have a statment from CCP Logibro talking about porting over players from dust to legion. Atleast Dust was a free to play game, but still kinda wish CCP would pay us for beta testing Dust for 2 years so that legion can be fully integrated into Eve. I ROLFMAO at anyone that bought origin suits, that was CCP rining the last bit of money out of players before they announced legion. I'll see you guys in pubs until they shut the server down and near the end, lets all go out in style with quafe scout suits and balac's GAR-21 assault rifles. Last few weeks good for everyone to run officer gear before shut down? (Operation Origin... the Origin of Legion lol)

Basically, "hey you dumb as$ console players that were stupid enough to buy a ticket here... FCK. YOU." CCP just pulled a "bonus round" on those console players. I almost did go to iceland and not only am I glad I didn't buy aurum for these events, but thankful I didn't go to fanfest. Although, if I was there, I think I might draw a "D" on that pretty new monument CCP had made. "D" for Dust... ya, I recently watched vendetta.
