No offense IWS but I'm failing to see the point of your position at this time. I understand that you guys were meant to be the voice of reason from the players to keep Dust514 in check but part of that includes a connection between both sides of the playing field. A bridge if you will.
This is the first post, hell, even the first comment I've seen from a CPM since the last elections. Scouring the forums just to see what we're talking about isn't really getting the information you need as only a percentage of players use these forums and I don't see you reaching out through many other of the many mediums players use. Your feedback to us is as infrequent and vague as the CCP employees.
So what purpose are the CPM's really serving?

So what purpose are the CPM's really serving? Voice of reason to CCP and to be a player representation (which no matter how csm and future cpm candidates try to sell the idea that it is representing players; its not. Most players are capable of selling themselves.) Let one not be fooled that the CPM was most accurate in predictions on player reactions over this event. CCP did listen; and they where not lying to themselves either. When they went forward.
So CPM said, "Hey CCP, bad idea". CCP said, "Yeah, we expect that". And then it happened and everyone sat around the table in silence?

Well its good to know the CPM/CCP/Player relationship works exactly like my (US) government.
