It is true that EVE players want to be able to play DUST on their PC with their EVE character, but with the character identity being stored on a separate server to allow people to use the same character in different games, I see no reason that you could not play the game on a different platform with the same character. The PS4 would just have to sync up with the Character Identity server when you log in, on whatever platform, and update your character stats from the server.
I think that once EVE:Legion is developed and running smoothly, if there is a strong business case for moving it to the Consul then I think they probably will. If there is not a strong business case for it, or it will be too costly, then they wonGÇÖt. They donGÇÖt want to say one way or the other now, because they will not know the effort involved until EVE:Legion is in a more finished condition. So CCP will not be making any decisions on the PS4 for at least another year. Who knows, if things donGÇÖt go smoothly and it takes them a while to get it to a good place, then maybe it will end up being ported to the PS5.

I have not seen the video yet, but I will clarify my question:
Have they confirmed it will be an election by the playerbase, or it will be CCP choosing again, or proroguing cpm 0?
Because with the Legion announcement, I can't see CCP wasting development time in coding a voting system for Dust. |

DUST was always foremost in my candidacy, and Legion was secondary.
However, I believe it may well be a simple starting point for CPM in Legion. Things may, and probably will, change during the course of the CPM1's term.

I suspect that statement was to dissuade people who might see it as a chance to get into early Legion Beta tests.
Those who actually follow what has been going on will know how much involvement with Legion CPM1 will have, but DUST will still be the primary focus and they need to insure that all the Elected council are still fully engaged and committed to DUST.
I expect the work of CPM1 will be 80% DUST, 20% Legion, and CPM2 will be 20% DUST and 80% Legion.

This requirement was announced a really long time ago, so that people would have time to get a passport. Depending on your country of origin, it may still be possible to get an expedited passport in less than a month. Even if it doesn't arrive quite on time, you might be able to run if you can prove it's on it's way.
