I really have enjoyed playing this game, and I am not one to make knee-jerk reactions.
However, I feel CCP has left some critical questions unanswered in the Keynote (I'm not sure I would call it a "Dust 514 keynote") that players should get answered:
1) Will our characters transfer? We all knew PS3 would not last forever, and many were running under the natural assumption that our characters would be maintained as we move to new matters such as PS4 or PC. Will EVE Legion keep this promise?
2) You stated "PC First", does that mean you plan to port to the PS4 as well? Many players have come to love this game are Console gamers who would be unwilling to move to the PC platform. How quickly do you think (if at all) you could get a PS4 version out (Or PS5 or 6 by that time) after releasing the PC version of "Legion"
3) "Legion" isn't coming out for -at best- a year. (likely far longer) What are your plans for DUST in the meantime? What new features will you be using? How much of DUST development could be "ported forward" to Legion? What are your plans for DUST (not legion) in the coming year?
4) In "Legion" what of PC? Will it be expanded? Removed? Changed totally? How will Mercs going forward be able to control territory and planets as a corporation / Alliance? |

They told they will be separated in devs blog.
