For now, it's just not worth it. There are plenty of other games worth playing that have a better track record than DUST, or that, at the very least, deserve the same level of optimism and energy that I once held for DUST.
This DUST Keynote is really pivotal for a number of us, so, we'll just have to see what happens in the hours to come.
I did not check who has more likes but I guess this confirms that Arkena is the one to take over now that I am gone....

Arkena actually still posts for whatever God forsaken reason, so it's understandable. I also question some of those likes cuz one day he was at like 5k, then next was near 10k lol. But, such is DUST forum likes, impossible to track, and the moment you go over 9000, you both transcend mortality, and the ability to have your actions judged truthfully. I have a cooler name, so, I will always win 
I do not wanna choose sides. If you wanna declare your activity then by all means my message is that my legacy goes to the strongest. Are you strong or weak? I wanna see some activity on this game.
Some people may think that I quit bcuz this game sucked or whatever reason but the truth is that I love this game. It is great and it has potential. The reasons of my leaving is private and out of my control. I won't be coming back. I have real life matters to attend to. I hope my friends can understand that and that the trolls give you all an equally hard time as they gave me ;)
in the next couple weeks I will lose my internet access and I will not be coming back. This is for good. I <3 my friends who tried to defend me but it was not necessary. I love you all. Thank you for making me happy and bringing joy into my life. You all are the best and you all are the future of dust if there is any. Players like you make this game succeed, **** it if your underestimated. GJR thinks your great and you are officially approved. If a scrub does not understand then they are scrubs for a reason. forget them and remember my legacy, eat tacos and be op. Do your best and have fun. |

I have pretty much lost all hope...... two years already past. When is enough really enough? All the players/devs that have come and gone.
With EVERY patch the game gets worse not better. More and more glitches/exploits. PC, lol don't even want to get started. Cloaks....RE... Who's idea was that? Tanks... The game took a turn for the worse.
I have come to the conclussion, that something very bad is coming. Something that should have been done long ago! I wont even say it for fear of (O O) "the one that shall remain nameless". I have been hoarding isk and running basic for the past year. I would rather use it all then lose it. Nothing but the best for my merc from now on. Maybe ill actually start making some real money killing 50+ every match. Once all my isk/officer weapons are gone....... Nothing left to lose. Thats why I stopped. It hurt to biomass/cut off a limb, but it hurt more to keep playing and hoping it would get better. All in all, it HAS to get worse before it could get any better. Crossing all fingers and toes and limbs for the future. Before I biomassed, the only thing that kept me playing and what I miss most about the game is playing together with my corporation. I miss them so much!
same here, my biggest love for this game was my friends. the ones who made it all worth it. I know you understand. You were part of my inspiration. |
