The thing is, you can't nerf us. I run proto in pubs sometimes, but only when I'm tanking or when the other team pulls out proto. Otherwise it's all standard and advanced for me and I still stomp newberries. There will always be players that are good, and protostomp just because they have the ISK to.
My point is, newberries will be newberries, veterans will be better than them, always.

Second, I have been sniping for almost a year, while shooting them takes some skill, they are USELESS to the team 90% of the time.
The only good sniper is one that calls out everything, and by that I mean:
Tank coming in on ground spawn, Sica, railgun
Ground forces pushing in on 'A'
Squad leader standing still in corner, watch for OBs
ADS pilot, there are 4 forgers on that tower, don't go there till I've scared them off.
