This game is a mindless FPS, as much as CCP wishes it isn't. WHY?????? The a-holes that can't play with anything other than Proto gear.
Now before the firing squad lines up. I have one proto skill and its in sniper rifle. No where does that make me a proto stomper. Its just one skill that is peeked, and I'm not even fully into the rest of the sniper skill set as Prof, and reload.
The proto stompers in pub matches are just f-ing stupid. and half the reason why the NPE is horrid.
Full proto gear(weapon, suit, equipment, and mods) should be limited to FW, or PC. only MLT and ADV in pubs. what I really would like to see, still outmatched by anyone with passive lvl 5 but the NPE would make that player seem less worthless.
Now off from my rant.
The community needs to come together and maturely discuss what would make this game into a real thinking man's FPS.
I suggest POW's, but in turn I do see the down fall to that. Already another thread started about it.
What else?
In a game full of corperations, why isn't there more corperate espinoge(SP?) Capture a district from within instead of from the outside.
Let's help CCP make a thinking man's shooter. No nerfs, or buffs. Add a new layer of game play to add depth to a shallow FPS that claims to be a thinking FPS. |

Honestly, yes I had to rant about Proto's in pubs.
But I'm serious, what would be a neat way to add to a mindless FPS, the game doesn't require thinking, just SP and a lot of time consumption.
I'd like to see corperations falling apart because a mole had gotten embedded.
I'd love to see POW's.
Ransome of player to get their homie back from a rival.
Things to add something more to a mindless FPS, of grind day in and out, just to become the guy you hated when you started.

1) you are an idiot. Sniping does require thought. finding a good safe high ground that also has a view of the field of battle. then make sure you have something to cover your back. So yeah so little thought for us snipers.
2) do not have a thale's. Ishicone is my rifle of choice. (thales do not drop, i get proto forge guns and mass drivers for salvage)
What is a POW????? really???????
