I bought a CCP subscription last year on twitch, and it said then it was a "one time based" payment and not monthly.
So how come I am not able to chat or watch them videos now?

Same boat for me. The stupid thing is that on my subscription page it even says FanFest 2014. So if I buy another one, I will have two FanFest 2014? |

I can understand if the 20 dollar purchase was only for the one FanFest but the fact that I am subscribed but need to do it again bewilders me. It makes me feel like I am at a vending machine and I don't know if my next dollar will be eaten... |

Glad I was able to watch it live, which was free, Just can't watch the recordings without paying. Which is dumb considering you'll be able to watch them on youtube for free soon enough. |

I paid 20 bucks last year and it said then it was a one time pay for subscription. Twitch lists me as a subscriber, but when I try to chat I get a message saying otherwise. I simply expect to get what I paid for. Or is that too much as well? Any clarity on this issue would be very lovely CCP. |

It looks to me like only watching the live stream is free and re-watching recorded streams on CCP's twitch is subscription only.
Pretty sure it wasn't like this last year and that's a pretty d*ck move to everyone who lives in a timezone that doesn't line up with Fanfest's live schedule.

I thought FanFest was a hitting the bars with devs and players every evening and guzzling obscene amounts of alcoholic beverages with foreign names, with the pub-crawl just being a moment to step it up a notch. 
Shame, i was hoping someone would have gotten a dust dev so oddily drunk he wrote the roadmap on a napkin.

Yea guys CCP has always streamed fanfest in a basic sort of definition for free and I commend them for doing so. They dont have to.
You have the option to pay for a better viewing experience.
I do wish they would allow standard def playback after the fact for people to catch up on however CCP will post it all on youtube at somepoint I suspect.
Youtubers already have some of the videos up from the stream. All in all I think it is totally fair. Catch the stream live if you want to see it, I know that's not always possible with time differences but down worry, someone will put it up on youtube within a day or two. |
