Clan loyalty is not something to be looked down on its a trait that is hard to find in this game and is a major reason for all the power shifts every month.

Not everyone has the same ideals as 'PC domination, relevance, competition'. Don't get me wrong, I do. But I know a good majority of my veteran and talented corp-mates couldn't care less for PC. Loyalty to them is having fun with the clan... nothing stagnant there.

Sticking with my brothers and sisters because I love them :)

what you really got to ask yourself is when building your corp do you want players that have talent but will jump ship and leave you high and dry the next time something better comes along. i have a difficult time going into battle with someone that i know will run at the first sign of trouble.

Lmao, no offence Sota but you could not, and I doubt many others could run the corporation like myself, my CEO and the other ranking officers do with the help of our officers. It takes a lot more than just in-game crap with us, 843 is a network across multiple games. Truth is our corporation is more systematic, structured and solid than most corps out there, including every one of you in DNS (probably), if we weren't then we'd be dead on the sidewalk from lack of activity, but we boom with activity just as a PC active corp does. We do not need to be 'taken in'. We are not suffering any problem that needs nurturing.

And I do truly mean no offence, but I believe people underestimate corporations in our position. We run a website that is the only successful corporation website I've ever seen for Dust. Buzzing with forums, chats, polls, strategies, all that good stuff. Why do you think you don't see Burgezz on these forums? There is more to our kind of corporation than meets the eye!

Point is not everyone has the same ideals, and loyalty does not just mean you stick through the good times, you stick through the bad times too. I am not currently in charge of PC or competition in our corporation, nor have I been for a long time, but I when I return soon I hope to up the ante for Burgezz, as there is a lot of potential in here and it does frustrate me sometimes that we are not as active as we can be, so I agree with you there, there isn't a lot of reason why we could not move up.

Who really does have a stake in this game Sota? There is only imaginary territory right now with no connection to eve other than orbital bombardment, yay.

There is no player market and don't think there will be one for quite some time, so all the isk in the game means nothing.

There is no revolving economy between Dust and Eve so weapon and equipment manufacture have no impact on economy or supplying troops, so really all the districts in the game have no purpose of their own to begin with.

Other than bragging rights, there is nothing to have stake in, nothing. Maybe down the road when and if things really do matter somewhat, a lot of these other corps will try to gain some ground, mine included. But right now with the way this game is right now, after working ten hours the last thing a lot of us want to do is have a battle against an experienced PC corp running the FOTM fits with a CR and get frustrated. Not to mention f'd up tanks and lag.

Happy to play some pubs in cheap gear and relax with my "loyal" corpmates and wait for some fixes.

Nothing to have stake in is exactly why a lot of us backed out, it means absolutely nothing, does nothing, worth nothing.

I love and hate dust in a way I never have with a game, its pretty freaky lol.

Your position as more active in PC does not grant you any extra knowledge, leverage, power, or worthiness to 'Use' me or my corp. Why don't I use you instead? You'd do good for an 843 recruitment drive. Sound good?

I'm not being held back, as it might seem. I know a lot of people would want me to utilise me for battles, and I could be anywhere anyone would want in Dust. If I was going to bought out or used for my talent I would have left and joined an elite corp a long time ago. There is a lack of soul within corporations who 'thrive' in PC, a severe lack of soul. I hope hvLP breaks that chain. Do not let your corporation become reliant on competition, it will be wholly stressful and unsatisfying. I've been running clans for about 7(ish) years now, I haven't got much more room to grow

Yes I and my Corp was frustrated, it's only natural, but we aren't going anywhere as the FOTM alliance will self destruct, you and I both know it, and there will be chances again...

A misconception is that because of a certain tag entails that said person does not care about the game. I know that HVLP has recruited heavily, and boasts a great roster, many who are great and skilled fighters. Yet some of us feel better trying to leave our corp hopping days behind us.

I'm quite comfortable here, and I'm not sure if FA is under the list of corps that don't care, but even if it was, I feel like I've made a new family (yes homo) here.

Of course, I've said something similar before, back in PX1, look how that turned out. Besides, there is only one corp that I would leave any corp to join, and that is my original corp, Bloodwolves Battalion.

Why would I do that....PC is a joke, FW where I chose to place my focus, in a corp that is always fighting someone, always looking to Reclaim the map, and the pendulum swings make it interesting.

Sota Pops right, we should all start up try hard corps. They can be filled with the same people from the last try hard corps . We can talk about how great our corps are until we lose, then start another corp with a different name.

That will totally make things more interesting and dynamic, and we never have to admit we've failed at anything, because we'll always be in a top corp.

I assumed because of the no land thing, and that the goal of FA is no longer to change events in Dust, and is set to changing the numbers in our wallets.
