I don't play Ambush, I admit. (If you say "DON'T PLAY AMBUSH!" I will know you're lazy, took one look at the topic, and didn't bother to read the rest) but I squad, and other people like to do Ambush. Also its great for ISK grinding. So it kinda irritates me when the enemy brings in a tank. You have to act fast and call in one of your own, and if you don't do it quick enough, the match is lost. Try to call in a tank? The map is so small that the enemy tank can easily destroy it before it touches the ground (If you say "bring in your own tank and go hunting!" I will know you're lazy took one look at the topic, and didn't bother to read the rest). If you go AV, you'll get slaughtered. To destroy a tank with AV, multiple people need to attack it. However, you won't be able to fight infantry very well. And since this is Ambush, there's not many places to hide so you can get some good hits on the tank (If you say "GO AV AND BLOW IT UP!" I will... well I'm not typing it again). So... what do you do? Well I carry remote explosives, but even if its militia it doesn't do much. Great for destroying cars and weakened tanks, not so great at AV otherwise. Plus you have to get close to it. I'm a scout and I still can't keep up with them. My only hope is jumping on top of it and laying down the explosives before the enemy team kills me. And it doesn't take many shots to kill a scout. This is all assuming that I CAN get close to it. Cloaks help but not much.
Whats the point of this? Well... no reason really. Its kinda my response to them lowering the tank spawn in Ambush from 6 to 2. But you don't even need two to destroy the other team. But there's also something else that somebody once told me. "What about the people who want to play Ambush, but skilled everything into tanks?" Well... I have no argument. That's the problem. Its not possible to find a balance in this. But still... what about everybody else who DIDN'T skill in tanks? We wanna play Ambush too.

First, I love you're sig. Second too true. My AV fit is PLC, REs, AV nades, mil everything else on a basic G-1 scout. You know what it takes to destroy
a tank- teamwork and luck. And a lot of sprinting.

a freaking team with nothing but proto suits with proto combat rifles.
