I actually do this with the laser rifle. Understanding that the laser rifle is great at range, and also great at ripping red dot shields to shreds, so typically I'm pulling overwatch / direction / suppression for the team. If I'm lucky, and not running with proto stompers, I can easily surpass 20 kills in an ambush (also depending on how much I want to kill steal from my fellow blue dots, I try not to be a douche majority of the time). I feel a lot of snipers would be happier if they went laser rifle instead of sniper rifle.

WTF, when I am running AV and keeping the tanks away or busy I know for sure I will not go over 20 kills unless the other team is running a lot of tanks.
