Hack mods didn't used to be so pg/cpu intensive i believe not sure why they changed it.

People abused Kin-Cats in the past and this is the price we now pay. PG does seem to be the solution for so many of the limiting they want in place.

Nice to see ya around, been a while.
I too find it horrendous that Armor reps and Codebreakers have the same costs, fitting them is an absolute *****- on minmatar suits at least. Caldaris have no PG problems.

They really need to move PG mods to the highs, so many mods in the lows are PG intensive.
But ya some things have insane costs with no explanation as to why. Energizers have absolutely insane CPU requirements, Kin Cats have insane PG requirements, Shield extenders are super intensive (especially compared to plates,) and the Plasma Cannon has impossibly high CPU requirements. |

Kincats were only abused because they gave massive stat bonuses to -everything- including RoF and strafe speed. There has really never been any need for them to require a lot of PG.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Hack Mods are 11 PG Kincats are 15PG Complex Damage Mods are 9 PG Shields are 11PG
It's insane. Everything good for the Min player is high PG, on a LOW PG suit.

My impression is the PG requirement was how the Devs decided to attempt limiting the use. Although to be fair I probably sound silly trying to apply logic to CCP.
Heck my position was to nerf the Kin-Cats and apply the game performance mobility saving directly to the stat line on Light Frames. Not sure post Uprising 1.8 since the idea Light Frames having to speed-tank isn't as strong as it was.
