It was a good sidearm for close quarters combat. I don't have that anymore. The scrambler pistol now has greater range, and accuracy, and a lower fire rate. It's not "nerfed," it's just not the same weapon at all. I can get kills with it, but It is much less useful as a close quarters weapon. I can no longer fight well against most rpeople with light weapons. I want a ruthlessly efficient close quarters weapon, but it doesn't exist anymore. The ion pistol seems like it is supposed to be what the scrambler pistol was before, but anyone suggesting that the ion pistol be used only does so ironically, or as some kind of personal challenge, as any other pistol is better than it is in the thing in which it should excel. I can use the scrambler rile like I used the scrambler pistol before, but now I don't really have a good weapon to go with the laser rifle. If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

The Scrambler Rifle has a semi-auto firing mechanism that sllows you to get 700+ RPM. The Scrambler Pistol is a tiny Scrambler Rifle, just with no charge and 450% headshot damage. "Just to bring it into other lines with the pistols" is bullshite. I'm pretty sure no Amarrian weapons have such a low RoF. /wasted OP. 5 & PROF. 4 skills Just because it can be used doesn't make it good. Those strafing scouts make it hard to down in CQC because of their high strafe speed. Pretty sure my laser pistol should be able to kill stuff quickly and efficiently. The minmatar pistol will be exactly like the flaylock pistol except it will be the flaylock pistol. @OP - M209 Assault SMG. Its just silly how powerful that weapon is in CQC. It pairs just right with the LR too.

I would advise you to use the TT-3, its a mean melon farmer still. Crush them

I've been thinking Why not give its RoF back and add an overheat mechanic that way if u spam the whole clip it would seize up.. the new guns are nowhere near the fun I had with my pistol and knife combo, if the other pistols got the headshot bonus they could maybe be on par with my old pistol but I agree the ScP isnt the gun it once was.

They're still awesome and can achieve almost the same amount of shots per battery as the Ion Pistol. It's ridiculous how pathetic the Ion is compared to its imitator.

I know it is, but it still isn't anywhere as good as the close quarters sidearm of yore that WAS the scrambler pistol. If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

I mean, from 400 for the starting militia, with an increase at every tier to what it is now: 285 for the starting militia, and no increase with ADV or PRO? Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

One is still exceptional . People are just QQing because it doesn't have prettying the highest actual DPS in the game (barring HMG) anymore. Now you can't spam bodyshots to win and actually have to aim for headshots. It wasn't meant to be the best close range option, or even the best hip fire weapon. Try firing a ion pistol, the iron sights are useless and the spread is crazy with a dmg fallout of 20 meters. The scrambler pistol is still better at close combat, even though its not a close combat weapon anymore. Sidearms aren't all terrible, but all sidearms are terrible at what I need them to do now. If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

It needs its damage about doubled to be what it's supposed to be. If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.
