Well for one you can spec into every thing everyone else can. Two, just because the weapon keeps killing you or you can't kill this or that suit doesn't mean its "OP". It could mean one out of two things you either suck or you are going after a suit that your weapon has less effect on. For example: I use the Scrambler Rifle, I'll completely destroy a Caldari Heavy because it is shield based and I do more damage towards shield based dropsuits. Against a Gallente Heavy I'll have more of a problem getting him down seeing that he'll be more armor based. I also use the Combat Rifle, both the normal version and the assault variant. Yes this weapon is powerful but saying it is over powerful is just getting quite annoying now. I use to think it was "OP" but after specing into the Caldari Assault I disagree. I find myself dying less and less from the combat rifle now because I'm more shield based then armor now. Stop nerf bombing everything, 9 times out of 10 its the worst players saying things are "OP" then the nerf comes and makes the noobs better while the people who spent a lot of time and SP into their weapon are the ones that have to suffer. Before 1.8 there were over powered weapons but changing the proficiencies on the weapons changed that and made everything a lot more ballance. So stop saying things are "OP" because you keep going after people you have no chance in killing. |

Sorry couldn't resist.... I agree the whole labelling the "most competitive" option as OP is not helping this game at all.

Perhaps you prefer the words "balance."
There are a lot of complainers, but a lot of times there are weapons that are far better than everything else.
No weapon should just be better than anything else, just different in its role. |

Every thing is balanced, its called skilled players can effectively use a weapon and make their weapon "OP" for them selves because they've put dedication into there weapons and learned to use it more effectively than other players. To dumb it down for you, any weapon can be "OP" in the right mans hands. |
