How about a suit that doesn't get destroyed upon death?
But for every time you die, it gets better (up to a limit of course).
Think about the risk vs reward for this kind of suit:
- A level one suit is garbage, worse than militia (requires 50 deaths for next level). - A level two suit is just about as good as militia (requires 200 deaths for next level). - Level three is about militia grade (requires 800 deaths to next level).
Etc.
That trend would continue to level ten where the suit is at just higher than prototype level.
A drawback to using this suit at a maxed level would be something like a cooldown timer or a limit per match and could even apply across all tiers, for example a level one suit has 50 uses per battle but a level ten suit has only one use per battle.
Anything to add would be great, even if you don't think the idea will fit into Dust, let's just have a bit of fun. |

Logically, you would have to go retrieve the suit, and take it back to a supply depot. This suit makes little to no logical sense. Make it more logically sound, and more practical, and maybe I'll reconsider. |

You're essentially describing a BPO suit, but where the worse you do the greater the base stats get? You did hear about how CCP have decried BPOs(even without your leveling mechanic) are destroying the Dust economy, and were in essence a bad call on their part?
Sorry, but Dust has a consumer-based economy, and any gear that doesn't get destroyed with your clone is on its way out.

One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.
