I'll rather choose this as a Sidearm over the Magsec for a couple of reasons:
1. Less Kick, the gun is more manageable to shoot instead of flying across the TV Screen, like what the Magsec does.
2. It's damage, it usally takes 4 - 5 shots to a kill a dude with his Shields & Armor full, but 2 - 3 shot when just shooting armor The Bolt Pistol is my 2nd favorited Pistol in Dust by far, my most favourited pistol is Scrambler Pistol. |

It's a fun little weapon. It's quite satisfying to use.
Not something I'd attempt to use competitively, though.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

They have to just fix the range but and I'd love it.

I don't see dual damage mods and prof 5 as being an *******. Damage mods aren't very good at the moment and prof 5 is a serious investment.
I don't think it's even that effective.
