I had been killing countless proto suits with my knives yet i rarely get any hatemail :( (except for that one guy in ancient exiles lol. he told me i owe him aurum). is the knives not as rage inducing as i thought they would be?
by the way lol. killed a knifer in our glorious duel, waited for him for round 2, he kills me with smg :(. i iz sad

I got some "spawn camper" hatemail recently for killing a guy spawning on one of the 57946 uplinks clustered in the building right across from letter in Border Gulch dom. Was attempting to flux them when he spawned; apparently, I was supposed to knock off that whole "helping your team" business and let him kill me. |

No such thing as hatemail for knife kills anymore. :( Only for SG kills or you get hell yeah you're annoying but good ish for the RE kills.
In 1.7 I got a gg from the top 10 just for dropping REs on them and suicide myself just for kills. I went 24/12 in that match with just RE and SG and most were from REs. I would drop them around a corner they'd have to turn(heavies and logis with heavies), and blow them when they got close enough. Beep! Death! xD Once in a lifetime game right there though. Not possible with the Min Scout anymore.
My fitting back then was Shotgun/SMG or Pistol/RE/Flux Grenade/Enhanced & Basic Shield Extender/Green Bottle and Basic Reactive.

The numbers have been dropping, though RE's and proto suits tend to be a nice combination to get this. Got one recently after killing a proto caldari assault in my basic scout. I think it's just the combination, people don't like losing expensive things to cheap things, no matter what the situation. So get out there, set up those traps and collect the hatemail!
Nova Knives are OP! Nerf em before you lose all your proto suits!

Most of the people wearing PRO AUR suits recived them from an event, such as the Commando/Sidearm event a few weeks ago.
Along with that, people aren't going to bring something into the battlefield that they can't afford to lose. If you see someone in an AUR suit, they clearly wouldn't care if you kill them because they were expecting to die anyways.
Though I've got about 350 'Neo' Commandos so dieing wouldn't make me lose real money anyways.

LOL nova knives reminds me when i was forge gunning with my my proto breach and got i nova knifed 5 times from behind turned around just in time to pop off a shot point blank range and kill a proto minmitar scout what a fail. Sent me mail asking if i like ads saw a ads get called in guy gets in the dropship i shoot the back of the dropship it clips the building blows up leaves the game |

Your so right any one using those are talented takes a lot of skill to sneak up on someone and get the kill, i tried it once on a scout only to get punch once by a commando and die fail |

Just this week got hate mail for ruining the game for new players due to cloak + shotgun == cheap tactic
I guess I'd flanked him and killed him without him seeing me. Coz that's like...my whole play-style.
Took the time to explain that I agreed with him but I haven't used a cloak for two weeks so he should rage at someone else.
