Here are the things that I hear over the comms during most matches:

burping,suckling, and/or other mouth noises
background noise
wind
complaining
idle chit chat

These are the things I'd like to hear more of instead:

"spawn x and we're doing x"
simple call outs (2 hostile north of bravo, blaster tank near CRU in city, etc.)
where did you die and why and by who (Gallente heavy near the point!!! ****!!!!)
where are you and where are you going and why should I care (I'll hack C and get an uplink down and meet you in the city.)

And pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease, if you're eating just go to Push to Talk. It's right at the top of the chat window in the top right corner. Just click it until your done sticking the mic in your mouth or mowing the yard or whatever it is you are doing.
