I think a nice way to kind of balance the blaster tanks vs infantry would be to reduce the damage they do to infantry by X%, then to stop them from being useless increase the turn speed of large blaster tanks and make Gallente tanks much more maneuverable than Caldari. TO stop people from just throwing railguns on Gall tanks,( I dont know too much about tanks myself so this is from my small amount of knowledge ) increase the railguns CPU cost, but decrease its PG cost and increase caldari tanks CPU and lower the PG, vice versa with gallente tanks and the same thing could be done with hardeners for shield versus armor, and then extenders. This would make it so that if you wanted to run a rail tank, you would need to stay back or a blaster tank would run laps around you, making it literally hard for you to track it with your turret, whereas a blaster tank 200m from the rail tank would most likely lose. Also, I think reducing the blaster tanks rang would be helpful, maybe making its optimal 80-100 and then it start to have heavy fall of from there. ( its a LARGE turret, not a assault rifle its going to have much more range than a handheld weapon.
I don't tank too much but I don't think this would would exactly nerf anything too hard, blasters would still be an effective AI weapon, but 3 shotting a medium suit won't happen very often giving infantry at least a chance to run away.

at level 5 profecincy it turns that quick you can track scouts. and anything else you wnat to shoot.
Sorry =S didn't really know this just from my experiences with a maddy it didn't turn amazingly fast, I only have ADV blasters haven't skilled into proficiency.

You do realise they're faster and more durable by far than Gunnlogis, yes?
EDIT: I'm not saying they shouldn't be nerfed; I actually would recommend a blaster damage nerf re: infantry (although I would prefer a damage buff and a proportionate RoF nerf, tbh)
Not exactly saying they would be useless, but I dont think you would see them nearly as much as you do now. Yes they are faster and more durable but currently if you run up to a rail tank and just start shooting it head on, gunnlogi or not your probly gonna get popped first if you have a blaster and they have a rail.
