I just got back on dust yesterday after a 4 month hiatus. I discovered a nice pile of SP had been made from the infantry respec, so I though about a comment I made on a thread a while back...
Omni-soldiering without a single sp in drop-suits or vehicles. I wondered... could it work? madness? tacos?

I just did a match and went 20/7 with just my templar suit + templar scr, and templar scp (i know the standard pistol uses less pg, but still) I consider that ok because I haven't touch a ps3 in almost a quarter of a year. Yesterday was painful, I couldn't even aim! (spin spin spin)

You can do great in militia or standard but I don't know if you have enough pg and cpu for some fits without sacrificing something.
I understand completely, I usually have to sacrifice some buffer if I'm going to run a proto weapon on my templar assault, but, I don't have to sacrifice anything to fit a militia heavy with proto gear >:3
