Yeah, Cal can get really good tank and strafe faster. As for the possible(or probable) nerf, I don't really care. I've been a GalScout for a year now and I have no plans to abandon my beloved suit.

If you solo, then gallente scout is the way to go, it is more flexible, has inate armor reps, is easy to make electronically invisible, and it has a BPO version.
If you run with squads, then caldari scout is for you. Your tank is the massive amount of DPS from the squad and there is a bug where passive vision is apparently shared with the squad. This means that your 6 man squad always knows where to find lunch. Also the HP you have will regen at insane speeds post fight.
If you are going to be camping a point, the minmatar scout is for you. Hack/counterhack faster than people can get back to the point, OHKO most suits with nova knives, fast enough to run for cover when cloak will wear off and your stamina pool is always full so you will always be able to cover that distance.
If you are a masochists(like me) run the amarr scout. It has a completely useless amount of stamina for 99% of the situations, and the same slot layout as the gallente. It is slower than an assault suit and will be beaten to every point on the map by the other suits despite the extra stamina/regen. It also has less PG than the gallente suit despite weapons that take WAY more PG. In the end it is amarr so I hold it dear to my heart, I just wish it was thought out better........

Cal Scout is just as good as the Gallente scout.
Minmatar scout is, well, different, it has a role that most won't care about.
And Amarr is just the Gallente's little ***** :P

Regretting my choice of min.. We run just a **** hair quicker but it's useless; you can't outrun bullets. OH! We get +25% damage to knives but that requires us to find you first (Gal) or get in close without you seeing us (Cal). I find it comes down to who sees who first. It's a cat and mouse game that the amar and min have no chance in.

It's intended role is sabotage and taking out large and slow targets.

Well 2 damps and a cloak and both the Amarr & Minnie are invisible to everything except quad enhancers Cal Scouts or Gal Logi Focused scans. 3 Damps for invisibility.
Plus Minnie really shouldn't be hunting other scouts, even if they could see them they are too fast to consistently get hits on with knives. They also waste their dmg bonus because you can kill scouts with normal knives. No you want the juicy targets. |

Gal Scout is just a good armor tank, why would it get nerfed, cause players a bad?
