Told you the heavy plate heavy rep build is good. I prefer it because you can also fit an afterburner, and if you actually skill up the Incubus skill, you can terrorize any and all shield vehicles, though you suck pretty badly vs good armor vehicles, using rail or missile. You can make a fit with a damage mod for the missile but, really, Incubus without an afterburner is kind of a joke.

I'd say go with the Python, it's better all around and more agile, plus, the less dedicated Incubus pilots out there, the cooler I feel.

It's been my fit since they ruined hardeners, there's no reason to ever run anything else now.

I laugh so hard every time I see a Python come at me with a Railgun when I'm in my Incubus. Like....how big of a noob can you be? Lmfao.

I've had Incubus 5 for, forever. Best investment I've made in this game, hands down. That last 10% makes all the difference.

I only used the blaster in the beginning for the lulz, it's not good vs Vehicles OR Infantry. I don't even know how the hit detection vs infantry is with it simply because you can barely ever line up a shot alright since you just have this tiny dot to aim with and you have to actually track them, and you can't see through you ship since we don't have a real first person mode. It burns through ammo WAY too fast, overheats WAY too fast, does WAY too little damage vs vehicles, and jostles your ship around, making the extremely precision aiming needed, impossible.

Small blasters get twelve thumbs down from me, for anything other than flying drunk.


31 Million, my Incubus build is now maxed aside from Ammo skills and the Missile reload skill. The rest is in Fatties and fatty related stuff, which is a long story as to why, but it involved being basically the only dedicated Prometheus pilot in the game when Uprising launched.

Now I hate heavies with a passion and very rarely ever spawn as mine, but it is what it is I guess. I just don't buy boosters anymore lol, nor do I sign in that much. I sign in to fly a few matches, lose a **** load of ISK, then go play other things for a few days till I get the itch to fly again.

Come to think of it, I lied. My Incubus build isn't maxed yet because I only took ADS to 3, so there's that. I won't touch Pythons or shield skills because I'm a racist Gallente and it's bad enough that I'm forced to use filthy Caldari tech for my missiles AND railguns...because, you know...Gallente in EVE use Railguns as well as Blasters, yet you can't even earn a railgun from Gallente FW. Such a useless game mode for Gallente Loyalist pilots.



Having both is technically probably the best bet if you don't care about RP crap. When you would switch out to your missile Incubus you would instead switch out to your Python. Really the Python is better all around, the Incubus just shines at completely shutting down shield vehicles, because for whatever reason, small rails do bonus damage to shields instead of armor.

That, and if you juggle your shots, you maintain your heat while simultaneously denying their shield regen.

True, just remember that every form of AV in the game except small railguns and lolplasma cannons deal their bonus damage to armor, so it kind of comes out in the wash.

How can you get that fit? Aside from missile prof/ fitting opt I have all other related fitting skills maxed and can't come close to that HP rep combo with xt turrets. Missile fitting opt. would only get 31.8 more PG. Are you counting shields in the total HP?
