I used it with 2 hardener and a afterburner but that was before the hardener's nerf, how should I Fit it now? Is the afterburner a MUST or is it possible to remote it for something else? Running two basic heavy shield extenders with a XT missile launcher is pushing it for power grid I would have to run the numbers but I don't think running three heavy shield extenders would be possible. If it is you would have to have maxed out fitting skills running all basic heavy shield extenders and an ST missile launcher. Oh Heck Logi, Tanker, Heavy

Tried it Booster does it much better with a hardener as you can tank and run away better Did I mention you wont die if shields go down because they dont take 12 seconds to recharge? I use afterburners because I find the speed and counter thrust crucial for some of the maneuvers I do, and to gtfo when the reds decide they don't like me anymore it seems fitting max tank is the best way to go, but you will need good fitting skills if you fly with gunners.

Try out both and see which you like the most. Fitting's are all about making them work with your play-style. Some fittings you'll have a hard time with because they don't click. Boosters aren't my thing. Jerrmy on the other hand uses boosters really well. As I said it's all about what works for you as a player. In 4 seconds your regen will start, you'll be back at full shields in maybe 10 seconds, then you can head right back in and keep shooting. As a Python speed and agility is your greatest advantage, you can engage and disengage against AV with ease, you need to exploit that. Afterburners are a must for Pythons. Your not going to out tank a forge or rail no matter your fit, so the best option is to either fly away or speed tank to beat their tracking. That leaves 2 slots for hp mods. 2 hardeners is less ehp than the above fit only using one and using both hardeners at once leaves you useless for a while. Using a hardener and extender is slightly better, but you're hosed if you're caught with your hardener off or during cooldown, which can be a decent amount of time. Boosters are pretty useful when paired with hardeners, but it's a pain to juggle multiple active mods and fly and, of course, the cooldowns are a pain. Straight buffer/extender tanking is the best because of the quick regen rate and adequate defenses. And the way you take out a forge is by orbiting. Dodge fire while keeping your nose pointed at him, and if you take a hit, fly away and come back in a few secs when you shields regen. Me in my ADS: 1,2
