Amarr have scr pistol & scr rifle, we need the super badass ultra explosive Flaylock Rifle.
A big bolt action rifle, with flaylock rounds,single shot, 6 shots per magazine, 150 meters range.

Lol rdr explosive rifle. You have a weapon like that it is the mass driver...
Don't get me wrong I would like to see that in this game but it would be OP !!!

I like mass driver but Flaylock rifle would be on another level XD
BTW, if balanced correctly it would not be OP, if they don't give it a big splash damage/area it would be ok.

I'm hoping the upcoming Minmatar precision rifle will be explosive, but have no splash, and do full damage against vehicles; would make a sweet anti-tank rifle.

Not a bad idea at all. I'd like to see weapons that do explosive damage that aren't just splash weapons. Shaped charges?

Dude are you seriously trying to say you deserve another weapon type.....
You already have 2 or more over the Amarr....so while I love the idea of the Flaylock Rifle I think we Amarr need our racial SMG and Heavy weapon before you guys start bitching about weapon comparisons.....
I was thinking more along the lines of a semi auto DMR, with a slight delay between trigger presses, optimal 75m, effective 100m, 12 round magazine, slight AoE, slight travel time.
High Alpha, Low RoF, Low DPS, but essentially a marksman rifle with AoE and good stability for consecutive shots.

i think yall just need a spartan laser av weapon, pretty much just the shield version of the forge gun, roughly same charge time ans damage with the only large change being damage profile and a small buff to dmg
It'll help define roles, i promise:)

No, mass driver is a grenade launcher, i want a rifle with explosive rounds, watch the short video, it's another game but it will give you the idea of how i want the rifle.

I like this idea, make it 10 per mag tho, not like a mass driver, but also not like combat rifle, just a weapon with exploding blurts that does lots of FUN damage, I love this idea!! |
