If he can use KB/M I reccomend Gallente Assault with the Plasma rifle as it'll be super accurate and you can get so close that melee will be a viable option yet still be accurate with hipfire. Great for eliminating scouts.

Gallente Commando 5
Shotgun Proficiency 5
Damage Amps 5
AR Proficiency 5
Use a Tac AR, Fed specialist Shotgun, Comp Light DMG amp, on an ADV Commando and you'll get 1001 DPS out of your shotgun. litterally 2 to 3 shots from the shotgun will take out even the brickest tankiest amarr sentinel while the tac can be used to take out targets further out.

So you're saying my 25-3 match with Tac AR w/ shotgun using KBM didnt happen because its obviously an ineffective combination? This was on the objective in the Gallente Labs in Domination by the way. More kills came from the Tac AR than the shotgun.

He has 10 mil SP, so he should really focus. What ever you say - please! Tell him to use racial weapons with racial suits only. (maybe even with racial equipment) We are mercs, and may use equipment combinations from all of the factions. Read Templar One!
It's like you dont want to get the most out of your weapons. While using equipment from other factions may not matter to the suit unless you're a logi, racial parity does matter a lot, especially on the assault and commando suits. It grinds my gears when people use commandos with non racial weapons on them, then complain about how the suit sucks.
