Absolutely destroys scout, but it sucks against assaults and heavys. I'm of course talking about non Amarr suits. It should be able to at least solo an advanced Gallente decked out suit without overheating. I mean come on...seriously? It sucks against them, but it shouldn't suck THIS much. Proto scouts are really easy to kill with this thing, but I don't think it was in the description for primarily being a scout killer... Give it enough of a buff so I can let off 20 shots instead of 15. That will do it.
OR decrease overheat time. It really. Really sucks. It feels like an eternity when hopping around. EDIT: Especially since you normally have to reload right after the overheat stops.

I don't have trouble taking down most armor tanked suits, except for heavies. I can hardly ever get them to half armor before overheating. Free kill for them I guess...

Replace it with a Combat Rifle and be happy. Thats my advice. I really like the guerrilla warefare with the Scrambler Rifle though. But I do like running the combat rifle. It's my second favorite next to the scrambler rifle. I use a cal scout with it also, popping in and out of cover and taking out targets with tactically placed heashots, or just being a derp and hopping around to kill them.

First off, If you can't down a Min or Cal Assault with a Scrambler Rifle, you need some serious help.
The Scrambler Rifle already excels at it's intended purpose, which is to annihilate Shield users. It is not meant to be effective against Armor Tankers in the same sense that Explosive weapons (such as the Mass Driver & Flaylock Pistol) are not meant to be effective against Shield Tankers.
When you ask yourself "Are SCRs effective against Shield users?" and the answer is no, then it will need an adjustment. Untill then it is working as intended.

I'd feel disappointed, as the Combat Rifle is supposed to be the answer to players who dual tank.
The Rail Rifle is meant to be the answer to Armor Tankers, but I'd be okay with it if it meant an increase of effectiveness against armor.

The CR is a armor bonused weapon yet it still r@pes shields.
The ScR is very, very weak against armor, and since most players armor tank, the scrambler is weak in general. I used to love the scrambler, now I only love using it against scouts.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.

I can kill caldari and minmatar suits lol I'm saying it's uber crap if they stack armor plates. It needs to be able to kill them before overheat, which just a disadvantage...

So your complaining that someone countered your weapon by using its weakness?
You already have the best Anti-Shield profile in the game (+20%). Your sacrifice in being able to easily destroy Shielded targets is your ineffectiveness against armor (-20%).
If you want SCRs to effective against Armor, then you have to give up the +20% profile against shields. You aren't having a weapon that doesn't make sacrifices.

I've only used it a little after 1.8. Seriously, the proficiency change and blanket rifle nerf has rendered it very niche. I had pro 5 and fitting opt, but it's no longer an effective killing rifle, just an assist farmer. I have switched to the CR because if I don't use it, im as good as dead.
Oh well, my samurai fit is useless ( Amarr ass ). When they changed the pro skill they effectively made anything armor more powerful. Tanks better and kills better.
