Until recently I thought Min weaksaucity was just in the amount of skill involved in getting used to knives, but otherwise a person used to kniving would do well as a min scout.
Well that perception is gone in a puff of smoke now. I've run a couple of PC matches as min Scout and I simply could not do anything useful except popping uplinks. The problem is that cal scouts completely negate you. It's impossible to sneak into position to knife anyone when you light up on everyone's passive.
There is gotta be a mechanic that makes the the the stealthy knife assassin actually stealthy. Maybe a min scout suit variant that drops sig through the floor but only allows side arms or even only allows knives.

Knives are a fail in PC for no other reason but the fact that everyone who is not running cal scout is running gal heavy - and you can't pop those with a charged strike and wont have a chance to strike 2ce anyone who is worth killing.
