So, any tips for an person that uses a rifle bigger then he is [scout]? ==== Please don't talk about how sniping is dead and how sniper rifles are broken, or 'don't'. I don't like being in the redline, its boring. I have the SP to get proto rifle so should I if I'm dedicated? Sniping is in a null zone at the moment meaning , I don't know what direction CCP is going with this role since you just don't see any attention given to it and any little thing might make it OP or just ruin the place it is at the moment and that's alright to me right now .
Other's might ask for an increase in damage but my prof is almost maxed out so I just don't have a problem with sniping right now .
If you know the maps as an infantry that helps because knowing maps are key to sniping and you will find out that there just are not too many sniping spots on most maps at the moment and again , I don't have a problem with that either but that also creates " Placement Burnout " of spots meaning , most snipers will already know where you are so don't get upset at those who are counter-sniping but then again , watch out for that and them as well as scouts that sniper-hunt .
As far as suits , I use Commando most of the time for the damage bonus and my sensory skills are at four but I might just start using scout suits because I can't see them otherwise . To each is own .
Yes invest if your serious but keep moving . You will even start to have a " spider-sense " as to when it's time to move from one spot to the next . I get caught because I just don't listen to myself and someone takes advantage of that but that's just how I play in my overall game and in life too , sad to say . Trust yourself and listen to your gut .
Get your head on a swivel , it might seem boring and you might think that no one knows where you are and are not looking for you or at you but don't get comfortable . Believe me , when you least expect it .. that's when it happens ... BOOM .
Dam ... sorry , I just got caught up and I hope for your success ( Just not against me ) if this is a role that you choose .
You will realize that some maps , you will not have much choice about redline sniping . I try not to do it ... notice I said " Try " but ... all I can say is " You will see for yourself " . GL .

They prob would never expect you to place it where you are . Hell I sit on mines sometimes , using the glow to make it harder to spot me but I have to be in the right place at the right time to do that , an experienced sniper will see that and place one between my eyes .
