Hey guys!
I started a stream today and am probably going to continue doing it pretty regularly. Just wanted to let some of you forum-goers know. If you're bored or just want to watch someone scrub it come, come watch the stream!

That's why?
I though people used the Semi-Auto because of it's reliability at range when you aren't using AA.

I need to figure out a way to not include the comms chatter. Probably just feed the voice output to a headset or something.

No hahaha I think that was Smite on the PC. It's sort of like League of Legends or DotA except in third person.

Not at all. The DS3 is great. It's all about what you're used to really.
I've been playing FPS games on the M / KB for a long time so I feel way more comfortable with it than a DS3.

Just wanted to know, after looking at your gameplay, are you playing mouse/keyboard ? your interface really looks like its going 10,000 times quicker than mine @ home... and also you are really precise with that combat rifle, tried it with the DS3 and well, cant seem to get a fire rate as high as you. Care to share your tricks ? |

I am using M / KB. I played a lot of Quake, UT, and CS and other FPS games before so I always assume I'm playing a fast paced game.
The trick with the CR is just learning the correct firing rhythm. I used to play drums and can tell you the optimal rhythm is around 300 BPM. Big problems occur in laggy conditions though. A lot of times when it's laggy the game won't register trigger pulls and will seem to lock up. I demonstrated this on my stream but am probably going to make a video about it when I get some time.

A fair warning, I've been getting pretty severe packet loss from Comcast over the past week or so which causes me to rubberband/lag spike a lot. This occurs regardless if I'm streaming or not as well as on my gaming PC. Sometimes it's not as bad as others but we'll see. I'm calling them tomorrow to get this **** figured out because it's incredibly frustrating to skip around everywhere.

Sorry guys, cancel that. Game is unplayable right now until I get this packet loss issue figured out. When playing it feels like I'm Nightcrawler from X-men or something. I will skip every second to a different location.

So in the past 5 minutes I think I've managed to figure it out. I removed a splitter from the coax cable connecting to the modem. Voila! Fixed everything.
I think now I can stream in 720p too. I was doing 480p before thinking it was causing the lag. Just did a test run at 720p without a hitch and without any rubberbanding.
