The difference was the acceleration i fitted mine with jovian powerplants and lev 5 nitrous, whenever i accelerated into a wall i would blow up cos it was so quick lol

Logistics vehicles also had built-in repair beams and tended to be alot harder to kill. A tank with a trailing logistics LAV was neigh impossible to take down. |

It got a resistance skill bonus toward shield/armor respectively iirc.
Actually I'm mistaken, that was for LLAVs. LDSs got a reduction to CPU/PG for shield/armor modules per level, respectively.

I loved running an armoured assault squad with llav repairing the tank. Some engineer points that functions the same as triarge would nice as well.

ADS spam and HAV spam are still controversial issues.
Half the community wants to kill them and cannot.
The other half say use forge guns or skill into rail tanks.
-DS are paper if they cannot run, or if you know where they are going.
-DS (ads specifically) are frighteningly expensive.
-DS pilots are haunted by forge guns and rail tanks
-Everyone knows to kill the logi first.
You are asking DS pilots to be locked within 30m of the COMMUNITY DESIGNATED targets of their most feared weapons.
AND they will be primaries.
I cannot see this going well.
LLAVs were pretty sweet though. Mobile rep ftw.

Man, could you imagine how bad 1.7 would've been had they left remote reppers and transporters in the game? May be OK now or with a slight AV buff, but tank repping was WAY op in 1.6 and before. It was just odd to see partially becuse you got no WP for repping and partially because f*** tanks. That being said, it was fun being a tank logibro. Every now and then you'd see tanks repping each other. When you did, you had to wait for that mod to go on cooldown before attacking. imagine 2 heavies weilding both a repair tool and an HMG at the same time.

i still have a few of those torque modules for when the player market comes out... they arent in the market anymore so they are probably valuable, but they still work
