So I was in a domination match and I was flying my ADS as per usual killing infantry and tanks alike, but then I came across this Soma who would not take any damage even tho my ammo was going down and I was able to damage/kill anything else on the map.
Dropship used: Incubus.
Turret used: AT Missiles.
I captured a short video with my smartphone while I was trying to fly and shoot with one hand. I will post it on youtube if CCP deems that necessary (video quality is awful).
R.I.P. Pre-1.7 Vehicles & AV, you will be missed.

You could be just lagging.
Nothing is a bigger PITA when your driving around shooting things, the game is running fine but shots dont register on target and no damage is applied \o/

The target was moving very little to make that kind of difference. I was able to effectively shoot moving infantry, so why not a target 100 times bigger than infantry?

Hate to say it but basically it happens because it just happens lol. Check the amount of threads dedicated to tankers pissed of at being unable to register damage on things the size of installations, and the ever present nightmare of splash damage not properly being applied.
If it happened just the once then forget about it and move on, but sadly you just had a '**** happens' moment imo.

Alright, I'll post it tomorrow cause now I'm gonna get some sleep. I think I miss half my shots in that video tho but that is entirely because I'm not watching the game but instead the phone when I'm recording, so I didn't actually see much that was going on in the game cause I was just trying to keep the phone focused on my dropship and I also had to be ready to bail in split second cause of several enemy AV and one missile Gunnlogi...
