They're pretty ace, even on a CalSent with a large base HO for that downside to punch.
You can get a CalSent up to like 113/s with 700 HP or something stupid like that with energisers :P

Working on the same type of set up for my Cal Heavy. From a fitting tool, I can get somewhere like 700shield at Gëê80/sec w/ like 2-3sec delay max.

Why you would be placing a Ferroscale on anything that isn't a scout, I don't know. If you were to armor tank you'd likely go Gallente, which has built in reps. And a flux grenade can wipe shields to 0.

4x complex shield extender 1x complex armor plate. 1x basic armor rep. 1x adv. cloak. 1x nanite injector. Weapons you choose.

No as it stands a proto plate is worth 2 proto extenders, which is just plain wrong. Instead Imwould suggest 3:2 ratio.

No kts definitely not, Shields reps rarely come into play during 1v1 engagements. As such shields are unnecessarily gimped for a bonus which rarely comes into play. If you wish for shield to remain at such low EHP, remove the shield delay completely. Actually give this bonus you limit us by.
A shield tanker should be at a mild disadvantage, but when a gallante scout can have as much armour as a caldari heavy has shields something is seriously wrong. Also I would like to point out a Gallante Assault can achieve 27HP/s with 0 delay, that's a lot of regen, by anyones standards.

My Sentinel ck.0 may only have around 450 shield but with around 500 armour, and 4 Complex Energizers giving around 113 shields per second.

I personally don't use it on my scout, those 50 shield regens are good enough IMO How much shield regen you get? 75 right? On my Cal heavy(dont have sentinel yet Q.Q) i put that **** on, good regens

Youre forgetting that I can drop 2 Allotek hives and rep 80 hp/s without delay while getting shot. Either plates need to get nerfed, shield extenders buffed, or rep hives need to be done away with.

A gallente scout can have as much armor as a minmatar heavies Ehp... Ive seen 700-800 armor scouts... terrifyingly ugly and their strafe speed is just >.> |

True but he can also cloak, so you know swings and roundabouts not mention it still puts my dual-tanked (not brick) Minmatar Assault to Shame.

Why you would be placing a Ferroscale on anything that isn't a scout, I don't know. If you were to armor tank you'd likely go Gallente, which has built in reps. And a flux grenade can wipe shields to 0. Whether you like it or not, Ferroscale is in the game and lots of people use it (me for one - yes, on a scout suit). Your idea of 'balance' is to make one item totally outclass an equivalent item. |
