That bug has been present since Beta. Doesn't happen often, but when it does it is REALLY annoying. I see you managed to take your tank with you. First time I heard of that happening. The couple times it happened to me was as infantry. I personally think it has something to do with switching between the overhead and back or going from overhead to spawn. Everytime it has happened to me it has been doing one of those two things. |

Know exactly what you're talking about. I've had the weirdest stuff happen to me in this game. I've fallen through the map in a tank. I've jumped out of a dropship and fallen through and kept going with my inertia dampener on. Just last week I was killed by a randomly exploding empty LAV which blew up for no reason at all as I walked past. Just my name showed up in the kill feed.
Always the last person to leave. Always the one cleaning up people's messes.

My tank and I have been on multiple wonderful journeys through the map and beyond. About four times to be precise.

LAV's have a timer on 'em. If they aren't used for a certain amount of time, then their health is dropped slowly to 0. Once it hits zero...well, what happened to you is what happens.
Your face is something to shoot, so I will shoot. Don't be offended, I do it to everyone.

Fell through the map for 3 minutes freefalling. Then slammed into the planets core.
I found the graves of the FlayLock, and the SCP and shotgun ROF.
The Ions and PLC and sniper rifles graves was already dug, but they were empty. That's a semi-good sign.
Also found a shovel with the name 'CCP LogiBro' written on it.
I saw a grave with the words 'Medium Frames' on it, the grave was huge.

It is reproducible on command. Just get a roof over your head and look at the map when in a vehicle. I sent in a bug report with a video showing how I was able to do it multiple times, different video than Jadek linked. It will even work with a dropship but you just explode rather than falling through the ground.
Not even lag. You can do it as often as you want. If you have cash to burn, get a bunch of Sicas and you can do a conga line of them.

Had this happen many times. Recent one was falling from a ledge, slowly falls in slow motion, and then I fall into the floor. All I see as I am falling is some trippy colors and a message telling me to press X for afterburners. Its random, and it pisses me off. |
