An Incubus should never ever lose a fight to a Python, at worst the Python should retreat to the redline for a draw.
Anyways.
I just can't bring myself to not fit an afterburner, railguns just deal too much alpha to not have an "oh ****" button. I've been running advanced heavy rep and plates with no hardener lately and it's good against everything except damage stacked rails, if you can't evade the third shot you die. I just can't really bring myself to fit a hardener anymore, they seem like a waste of space now.
The afterburner is also essential in dogfights because without it you will not maintain elevation and you're going to lose every time.

I just can't really bring myself to fit a hardener anymore, they seem like a waste of space now. they are, thats why my main fit is 100% passive tanking (FTW) but fits like this ones makes marvels in the rings map (the one with the big square building in the middle overlooking alpha ) because rails cant get you and you can just rain hell without having to worry much
I'm wary about hanging out inside the city because of AV knockback, it's very easy to get bumped into something, ever so gently scrape your paint, and lose 5000 HP in the blink of an eye

Python is a Glass Cannon (have you seen the DPS in that thing when maxed out?) and incubus is like a reinforced glass cannon, in a fight a python can win if he has caught the incubus by suprise, he can land a whole mag the ram and he wins Overpowered if python cant win Missile vs missile python should win by far
I'm not talking about missiles you noob. Railguns. Railguns FACE **** Pythons because they're ::gasp:: anti shield weapons, OH MY!!!!!
If you use your missiles on an Incubus to engage a Python, you are a noob.
