My changes to rails: Increase rail range to 450-500m. They're meant to be long range AV, 300m is hardly fair. However, rails should be immobile while charged up and firing and have much higher fitting costs. These changes will force rails to keep a safe distance from enemy tanks while making them less viable up close.
Missiles should come in two variants: EM and explosive (the current). Costing 60x the SP to skill into should come with some benefits and I think having two damage types more than makes up for that. The idea is that one missile type will be able to take on each type of tank, respectively, but will be less viable against the other. They should also get a "shotgun" style reload that loads one missile at a time and can be interrupted by firing.
Blasters need a nerf with respect to infantry. Lower effective range down to 50-75m and more dispersion will be fine imo.
Well considering that right now a large blaster has more range than a large railgun, yea. Pretty sure a large blaster, with how ranges are, should have an absolute range of ~150. Missiles should have a longer range than blasters and rails longer than missiles. Change that and we'll have blaster tank scrubs actually getting into the nit and grit of the battle instead of retreating from 100m+ out when AV begins hitting them. I like how railgun range is right now considering I'm a dropship pilot. These maps are far too small for large railguns to warrant blocking off half of the damn map. Now, it's a different story if CCP implements drop off damage to large rails and forge guns like they did to small rails.
If all of them are the same type, why do 2 have a straight damage output with no reduction at range? Is this the real life or is this just fantasy?

Dropships need a buff. This way they can stop derping everywhere . ;_;
