I capped on Friday after maybe 15 hours of play, regularly pulling in 20-25k+ (max was something like 32k) (regular boosted) SP per Domination match. That's barely more time than it takes to cap on a regular week. What's the secret? Actually working to help your team win. Uplinks, repair hives, regular hives, then slayer fits, I did it all and was rewarded appropriately. Get good, earn WP, cap out. You're not trying hard enough.

Are you kidding me. I pointed how the reward system is messed up and your answer was your a scrub, play harder, help your team win. Are you F***** kidding me. I am upset because the reward system is broke and it needs to be fixed. For your information I do come in first and I do support my team. The problem is the reward system.

And I'm telling you it's not broken. I definitely received the 5x rewards in every match. If the reward system isn't broken, the only alternative is that you're not earning enough WP to see the full benefits.

Triple SP event is working fine. You only get 5x SP from Warpoints earned in battle. This means you can't just join a game and go 1/7 with 350 warpoints and expect to earn much more SP than you would normally.

You earn SP for being in battle (WP / sec. in battle) as well as WP earned. Normally you get 1 SP for 1 WP. In this event you get 5 SP for 1 WP.

The reason this was put in place is because AFK farmers would sit in the MCC in Skirmishes and earn almost the same amount of SP during the 3x SP events. They changed it to this format a long time ago and it makes absolute sense. If you suck and can't earn more than 500 WP in a game then too bad for you. Now stop freaking out and get good.

I suppose that would be much better advise than just saying "get good" because "getting good" is too much of a broad term. Then again, so it "farm WP harder". My advise to the OP is utilize drop uplinks when possible. One way I go about it is to create at least two fits. One for deploying the maximum number of uplinks and then switching to my hacking suit and hack as many installations and objectives as possible. That's one way of doing it at least.

I suppose I could go show myself earning 200 WP and getting the full 1k SP soft cap payout, which I have observed consistently by dicking around in Ambush with flaylocks.
I capped out just as fast as I do on normal weeks. If event rewards were broken, it would take me three times as long. Therefore, event rewards are not broken. For reference, I pull in between 2k and 4k WP in the vast majority of Dom matches.

Edit@your edit: The OP cites a match where he goes 2 and 5 and ends up in 7th place while using an AV fitting (i.e. no uplinks/rep hives). Regardless of his contributions to victory, that's not going to make for great WP, and therefore isn't going to get him much benefit from the 5x multiplier.
