The first batch of triple SP were just triple SP; everything was tripled. It was fair. This was is quite unfair to players that don't pull huge numbers. 4,500
Let's take a 15 minute Domination game. Player A gets 300 WP. They get 4,800 Player B gets 800 WP. They get 5,300 Player C gets 1,500 WP. They get 6,000.
Cap is 190,400. Player A needs 40 games (10 hours), Player B needs 36 games (9 hours), and Player C needs 32 games (8 hours). Just picked the numbers randomly.
Triple SP, 5 times WP: Player A gets 300 WP. They get 6,000 Player B gets 800 WP. They get 8,500 Player C gets 1,500 WP. They get 12,000.
Cap is 571,200. Player A caps in 96 games (24 hours), Player B caps in 68 games (17 hours), and Player C caps in 48 games (12 hours). Yes, everyone takes longer to cap unless you can pull in over 300 WP a minute in which case you are capping faster than before. However, it is particularly brutal to players that score low numbers. You may scoff at 300 but 800 means you killed 16 people. Someone not in a squad that goes 16/0 on the ground could very easily have around 800-1,000 WP. Take a look at your next match and see what numbers 8-12 are pulling. Imagine how much harder it is going to be for them to fill a pool that is three times larger with those numbers.
Analogy: everyone has to fill theur pool with water. Everyone has buckets, some are bigger, some are smaller, but everyone has a steady stream of water that is being put into their pool no matter how much water they can carry in the bucket. Someone says "I am going to help you out by giving you far, far larger buckets AND a larger pool to fill!" but don't change the stream of water. The people that 'are strong enough' to carry their massive buckets won't have a problem. For the people that can't carry as much water, they are going to be filling that pool for a long time.

Nevyn Tazinas wrote: Except your analogy breaks. Because you don't 'have' to fill your pool each week. And however much you do fill it in your week, gets added to your bigger swimming pool out the back. And it's the size of the bigger pool out the back that really matters, so it's still a bonus. You can't swing '*5 SP' as an unfair penalty in any way, shape or form.
It is a bonus but it is far, far harder to cap for those that don't pull in the huge numbers. I understand it is "I won the lottery; that sucks because now I have to pay taxes" but it is a bonus that certain people are more easily to capitalize on compared to others. That is where it is unfair.
