Should have spent less time forum warrioring and more time locking. I like how you got the clone pack we had on you two days ago removed (via petition?). Got you this time though, no more GMs bailing you out. |

#NotJudging This glitchy game makes us all glitcher corps. Logic! I think I have decided not to drink and try to play Dust and Eve at the same time, ***** hard. And makes me feel like a lightweight :( For the record, I think this whole thing is more CCP's fault than yours. The fact that there IS double+attacks, and the way they choose to handle them non-transparently through the petition system is ...... I'll finish this thought after my own current petitions end. I want a little bit more feedback on this issue (as to why some attacks are canceled... I understand how the mechanic works, but our most recent attack canceled before the battle, which isn't what happens "naturally") , and oddelulf 3-17 before I lay into them too much.
I don't think you guys handled it very well either though. The attack bug is very clearly unintended, and you could have done a lot more to avoid it than what you did. Only the GMs and locking corp directors know if you profited financially, but it is undoubtable that you benefited from it. |

I would prefer a hybrid corp battle/ PC system to determine who gets the attack. Sort of an auction.
Bidding starts at 1 million for attack rights. The attack time is set upon first bid, and it opens a period of 24 hours for subsequent bids. Subsequent bids must be double previous bids. At the end of the 24 hour period, whoever has the highest bid gets the attack in. Half of the bid isk is goes to genolution and is effectively destroyed (this prevents self attacking) The other half is a prize for the victor.
I understand that this benefits the powerful. There are other changes that need to be made to PC to provide more varied ownership. Clone packs obviously need to be bumped up to at least 135-150. Passive ISK generation is too high.
But what I propose would eliminate locking and bring back an element of what made corp battles great. |
