Comon.... Slip out of the emotion... Take a step back and look..
Even the stuff you say yourself... So the RR is powerful one way and the CR another? the HMG a different way... SO they are all counterable?
Are there some guns that are still useless... *Cough* Flaylock* well? yes.... But This is an amazing job for CCP...

I am sorry but i really can not take anything you say in this thread seriously now with such outlandish comments. The HMG is probably the easiest weapon for an assault frame to counter. I am curiouse myself though because i am starting to think that the shotgun is actually a higher dps close quarters weapon. I dont have the numbers in front of me to do the math though. If you see a heavy, as in if they have los, the hmg has such high dps you are most likely going to die before running to cover
So basically counter to hmg, stay 50m away>balance |

Its actually right now the only thing a HMG excels at. You might as well say snipers are OP because they kill at long range so effectively with the argument you are making. The HMG is a close quarters combat monger the weapons that come close it it as far as dps are the shotgun and nova knives (charged) which is right where the heavy with hmg should be. Also yes heavies generally try to ambush players around corners to play to their strengths. Ok I have a short range gun, I insta win because its a cqc gun, and on maps im spammed you need a heavy to kill a heavy Uh huh |
