Scouts and heavies are counters of themselves.
But.. with SG dmg profile, its like lottery. Ill kill that heavy by out strafing him or.. he will turn around after my 2nd shoot and KO me. (in situation when scout gets 1m by heavy ass, im also talking about normal players * read not noobs *)
Either we need SG for armor (caldari/minni sg?) or heavies stop turn like skiny dancer with ****** suit and hmg.

Sometimes I will throw a M1 grenade at the heavy and try to time my SG to go off either just after or just before the grenade, gives a nice big surprise to the heavy, and then my second SG shot will finish them off usually, sometimes it takes a third shot.
Without the grenade most heavies go down in 3 shots, the first 2 you usually get off before they have a chance to shoot at you. |

Yea uh, caldari scout with a shotgun and IDK what the hell kind of shield extenders prove them invincible against my HMG. I still am able to turn around...... thank you high sensitivity.

I'm a Heavy myself and still a Logistics player. In my Minmatar Logistics, all I have is speed to get away from you IF I get lucky,
But to the task at hand. Heavies versus scouts. They counter each other in almost every situation we the players could think of. The SG if you catch us off guard which is easy to do you will get that kill depending on how you aim. The CR is another option since it gives you the range advantage in that scout suit.

I'd just give the Breach SG a 3 round clip, and the ability to fire without reloading the entire clip (like other SG variants).

Time to kill peoples hope for new shotguns. What if the shotgun is gallentes special weapon? Thus making the special weapon group:
Minitard- Mass Driver Amarr- Laser Rifle Gallente- Shotgun Caldari-??? edit: (REs?)
CCP did say the mass driver might just be a placeholder at light AV until something else added. |

If they kill me because i fail / or they saw me then its good.
Im talking about deaths when i can catch somebody offguard from bh firing first shoot, and heavy have the ability to jump, turn around (they should turn some slower than scouts) and OHK me. Then its not okay.

That's the reason we play heavies, so we can tank damage, not die in 2 shots before noticing where it came from which happens already with shotguns. People are crying for a buff for the shotgun when they already kill a proto sentinel in 2-3 shots, the Snipers are jealous of you guys

It is a great risk. You have to learn to keep to the sides and cover, the HMG has a major flaw in how effective it is at range. It isn't like a Scout which can cloak and run fast and flank. Yes, it might be the general thought that Sentinel's with HMGs are just dumb bricks that charge at the enemy spewing hot lead every where. But let me tell how far that will get you as a Sentinel. Normally dead charging out against weapons that actually have Range. Our mobility is limited, our range is limited, only thing we have is health and resistance. It's not like we are an Infantry version of a Blaster Tank. You will learn quick who are just scrubs using a Sentinel charging out across an open plain firing a HMG and who actually knows how to advanced with it's limited speed and range.

I can't be bothered to read this. Is this another post saying SG's are UP just cus a heavy takes more shots than a mid frame?
I don't use the shotgun but plenty of heavies have gone down to my weakling Min scout with basic Ion pistol and SMG, so I don't see how their turning ability can be that bad considering how much time I need to take to achieve the same effect.
Hell, When I Min sentinel all my 2x resistance to armour grants me is the ability to take an extra shot before I go down anyway. On rare occasions I might be able to turn but actually killing the guy is more down to his panic firing and missing. So seems fair to me. The problem is the HMG is too powerful, heavy's can literally do 360s and demolish everything in their path.
"One does not simply" run 11.12 m/s.
You do it with 63.00 Stamina Regen.

I think another shotgun would be a good idea. One for shields, one for armor. It could be a Minmatar automatic shotgun. Something like this.

But.. with SG dmg profile, its like lottery. Ill kill that heavy by out strafing him or.. he will turn around after my 2nd shoot and KO me. (in situation when scout gets 1m by heavy ass, im also talking about normal players * read not noobs *)
Either we need SG for armor (caldari/minni sg?) or heavies stop turn like skiny dancer with ****** suit and hmg.
Sorry I am going to say F*** that. Why, I am so sick of scrub cloaked SG players. I am taking on two people and I drop them. This Piece of excrement will come up and decloak while I am turned and shoots me in the back. Ok I get it they are supposed to be like this, wrong the balance is off. When I have 5 in passive radar skill and I still cant pick up not even a blip from when they are standing next to me is BS. If scouts can cloak heavies can LAV, that's all I have to say. |
