Then lets have max 1500 HP on the fatties max 1000 for assaults and max 700 for logis.
Oh and we should limit weapons as well: For primary weapon: Heavis can only use HMG's or Forge Assaults can only use hitscan rifle type weapons Logis can only use MD or any sidearm they want Scouts can use shotguns, Nova knives or any sidearm.
And I could go on and on, equioment limitations, speed limitations, no med suits with dampeners and so on.
So why should we not make all the suits pre fitted so that everything will be "balanced" from the DEV side?
Freedom of choice and the ability to make insane combos like a Minni Fatty with KinKats or a Cal Logi with cloak and dampeners....
Any sort of restictions such as these will only diminsh the game, go and play KZ4 and you'll know what I mean. When I tried it I said to my friend: "OK, OK I know what I wanna do, I want that clas with this weapon and such and such as sidear and a nade, how do I set it up?" - He said: "You can't do that, with this class yu can only choose between those 4 guns, for the AR you want to use you have to use the assault class."
My responce was actually: "Thats just stupid! His friend can carry an AR but my dude can't? Well screw this game, lets watch a movie..."
The morale is: Be very careful when you wish to limit a class and the possibility to set it up however people want, if you have a big issue with scouts having 700+ HP it tells me a lot about you as a player....
Edit: And how can a scout have more HP then the assault suits? Bad at math???

You're a player that comes to the forums and complain about one set of suits being able to put another 3-400 HP on their suits more than you'd personally like them to have. Thats what? 0.5 sec of extra surviveability? And thats supposed to be a game breaking issue?
As a Gallente scout I've been experimenting with different fits. I've gone from 703 HP initially and down to the 478 I use now, its far far more effective as a combat unit than the tanked out variant. The insane strafing speed and gneral E-war bonuses (Which needs modules to be truly effective) is just vastly superior to having a fraction of a second of more surviveabilty. I love going up against tanked scout suits, they're normally very easy to kill.
So let me ask you this? Are you a scout yourself this build and have tried different fits and found out that your super tanked scout suit is unfair to the others and you want it nerfed cause you feel bad? Or: Are you running another kind of suit and you think that a 800 HP scout suit is so insanely OP and unfair to you that want it nerfed?

Tanked out Caldari scouts = 837,4 HP Tanked out Caldari assault = 1010,8 HP
- Well the scout gets an extra compact nanohive, otherwise all weaponry is the same.
Tanked out Gallente scout = 989.2 HP (switched from CR to a Duvolle) Tanked out Gallente assault = 1141,8 HP (Switched from CR to a Duvolle)
Move speed of scout = 4.44, move speed of assault = 4,34 In the case of the Gal scout I can still fit an extra compact hive, a proto sidearm and proto nades, while I have a toxin SMG and basic flux nades on all the orther suits I've set up here. The Gallente scout is a suit with very very good fitting options. For me personally this gets negated due to the high cost and relative in-effectiveness of the Ferroscale plates, which I feel I need to fit to go head to head vs the other scouts. The main issue here is the ongoing armor vs shield imbalance. So it can definately be argued that the Gal scout is too easy to fit compared to the Gal assault.
In any way or form however, your and the likes of you who keep claiming that you can fit more HP on the scout suits are obviously misstaken. I can't be bothered to do a comparison on the other two races, I'm quite sure we'll get similar results.
Check out the facts before you make a tantrum on the forums next time please...

LOL I ran as a scout through 3 of the 4 Beta builds, do you think Scouts are OP now? Not in the slightest compared to what they where in Beta with that horrid hit detection and the insane strafe speed we had back then.

You choose to put other modules on your suit rather than going for max tank, like I do too. (I-żm not gonna tell my exact fittings but E-war > max tank) - So if you agree with me that the scouts suits are better when you don't fit loads of HP on it? Then why complain about the ones that do?
If tanking out a scout is "the best way", then do it. Don't chose a setup you actually find to inferior just because "this is the way it should be", and then come here and claim the setup you chose not to use should be nerfed.
Don't you see how little valid your entire argumnt is?
(Yeah sorry that you feel insulted but it has to be said, this is gaming forums, thick skins are needed, besides, I'm right and you're wrong.... And nothing I've said is off topic, understnding what motivation you have for your claim is hardly off topic...)

And doesn't the Cal logi still get 588 shields + the 112 base armor giving them 700 HP with no movement penalties? Or pretty close to it?
I could easily fit close to 900 HP on my Cal logui and still be way faster than th fatties,, but that was before 1.8.

It's called balance - but **** it dude Im with you and i want a HMG on my Cal scout so **** balance. And FYI I have no issue with scout HP,slot layout or cloaking - all fine as far as I'm concerned.
Remove the HMG push back effect and give it a movement/turn rate penalty and I see no problems with it...
