The game became too cheesy.

Everything you just listed is incredibly fun to play.
I'm guessing the reason you're not having a good time is because you're playing something that isn't fun.

I've played with all of those.
They each made me smile for a bit, then went  when I realized what I was doing.

I used to be able to find fun things to do. I just can't seem to find a way to have fun in the game anymore. I need PVE to blow off steam between matchs because after one I'm so full of steam I could kill a kitten. Custom or corp battles would be nice small bandaid over what needs stitches.

We need a place to blow off steam, destroy drones with a small team of friends, or have a friendly battle between two corps where you can set the rules.

Yeah. If PVE was here, I would love to hunker down with installations and stuff and laugh my ass off while the killfeed says,"Criteria Shipment (melee) drone"
Drones can't QQ, can they?

Try playing this game all day and then deciding you need a break from it so you go play battlefield 4... it makes me cry, the TTK.. it's terrible. Any who, back on subject, the only fun I have with this game is cloaking, running circles around gal heavies, ragdolls, witnessing a jihad jeep succeed or fail, and of course don't forget, accidentally killing someone with a forge gun blast that was meant for a tank until it misfired

Exactly. I actually made a corp named disgruntled and took a hiatus to play Dark Souls 2. If you want to be abused and enjoy it, play DkS2. The abuse here isn't nearly as rewarding.
I used to love this game, back with D3ath D3alers and Anonymous. I ran Logibro with a rep tool, even when it pissed off the FC. Then PC got stupid, everyone was annoyed without endgame, district locking, something about donuts, and there's only one alliance. Now I'm running heavy, which is more self sufficient. I'm looking for a reason to have fun here again. Perhaps the definition of insanity is coming back here.
If I could invade the games of pubstompers until they absolved their sins, I would run a cloaked shotty all day. |
