But jesus I keep getting stomped by top corps all the damn time. You know what, forget it I am going to play other games that are not this lopsided. I really like the game and its weapons but I hate playing this game cause I clearly stand no chance since the fights are not even fair most of the time.

I have yet to win it yet, but I come closer everyday. Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Most of the serious 6 minute games where it is a queue-synched team are in Ambush. Domination can be bad as well but the Redline and map gives you different opportunities to escape and attack elsewhere. Those that want to utterly stomp stay in Ambush generally because they games are faster and the Stomp per Minute factor is higher to feed the reptilian part of their brains. You must suck, all you have to do is pull out a swarm launcher and their tanks melt. Or so I've been told. My experience is closer to yours. I'll stick it out though, you just can't put much worth in your stats and have to judge yourself by your own standards of performance. Because, that's why.

When you are in a match with them just leave before spawning and select a new match. You will then be out of sync with them for quite a few matches if you are also running a train. You can also only select one server as they tend to do all of the servers. This limits your matches to that server alone which increases the odds of not going against them. Personally, I LOVE TAKING OUT THEIR HIGH ISK SUITS AND TANKS. It is very hard to do but it brings me serious pleasure. I have become a much better player trying to beat them. ALWAY finish off the suits (here comes the "that's what the female clone said" jokes). Always pop those last few shots so they can't save the suit. I now do this EVERY match and it has helped us win matches simply because it takes away WP for medics and forces a lost clone on the opposing team. Although I can't verify this, I can say that someone told me if you block people they are less likely to show up in matches with you. So you can just block all of them. I, personally, don't think this is true. Lastly, I run an SSD drive and I KNOW for a fact they run KB/Mouse. I know this because they are using KB macros to get vehicles in. There are times where I spawn in before they do and they can still get a vehicle in before me. That being said, if you also run an SSD drive then you can spawn a gorgon and goto two really high spots as quickly as possible and drop uplinks (two spots because they will OB one of them). You'll get massive WP for people spawning. There was one freak match where 4 thales spawned in and some charged sniper rifles and officer forges and raped them apart simply because I put uplinks in hard to reach places very early. They didn't get enough WP for 2 orbitals so they only got one spot.. We were down 20 something clones and by the end we were up10 to 0. If you don't run SSD then don't spawn vehicles, it just isn't worth it. I know some peeps that are all over beta tankers sacks will say that Nyin San/chan don't have good tankers but those guys are nuts. These guys are some of the best tankers in the game. The only people I've seen better are two my in game friends Night and SouthPac. I would argue that Cloak Wolf Rider is even better. But there is only a small handful I have personally witnessed. I obviously have not played with or against every tanker but if I can take you out more than one match with RE's and nades then I don't add you to my watch list (reserved for skilled tankers). Anyway, all of that was to say that don't waste the isk/aur trying to out tank them. All of that being said. They are still incredibly skilled players as a whole and work very well in a team. I dislike getting stomped when we can win but I never really rage when we don't have a chance. I still want to learn to counter AV as well as L OST and G P machine do in tanks. Those guys are very, VERY difficult to take down with infantry AV tactics without a reasonably skilled team involved.

A little smart thinking though can turn the match around, IE, good uplink placements. If anything, I play for WP and say **** the win in those situations. Which happens WAY too often. No since losing money on a lost cause. At the very least, I do my best to prolong the match as long as possible. Thinkin ambush here, running around the edge of the map droppin links and rackin in the points. Force the enemy to run back and forth across the match! Tanks - Balancing Turrets

You have to have someone on your side get a tank out- fast- from the start, or you don't have a chance in hell. If you don't get enemy tanks on lockdown, then chances are you won't win. I prefer to play logi, but the Scout & Tank spam force me into tanks. Matchmaking is so bad I usually have no actual tankers on myside, forcing me into one. Most maps are much much too open, meaning hiding from enemy vehicles really isn't an option.

Every kill the OP gets, they can get maybe 3x as many; more exp and warpoints = after a year the OP may face a bigger gap than them IF they still play even semi~actively. That's the biggest problem with this game...

I normally squad but when i run solo i have a great time in matches...hell running solo got me so PC friends that are giving me advice here and there -holds arms in O- throw it in the story basket bro

Nyan san only kept districts in the first place due to the locking exploit; for some reason someone was foolish enough to let what is actually a mid-tier corp into DNS. My best advice is just play for fun and don't play to be competitive, as much as it sucks, beta players will always have the upper hand but anyone should of known this coming in if they looked at how the SP system works and the SP active caps, so you can't grind your way to the top, and that's what you need to be competitive. Just **** around or play another game, you aren't going to be catching up until both you and the top corps run out of things to skill into in 3 years.

My only advice is to run with squads and mix up the game types; if you're coming up against pro corps in publics, go to FW for a bit. Or... use the 100% free [STARTER] Fits. And use grenades. Lots of Grenades. 'cause they cant save a suit that has died from a grenade

I'm not a huge fan of Nyain San, but just about everyone with districts has locked them at one time or another. You could criticize them for quickly assimilating and widely using whatever weapons/equipment happen to be best at a given time point. You could call them out for the somewhat unsavory practice of using their unusual timers to hold more districts than might otherwise be possible. However, NS aren't any worse than any of the other big corps. There are a handful of corps that can play the big stack/bully at the table. It's more symptomatic of the over all game design than any thing particular to NS. FPS games attract a fair amount of jerks and a decent amount of jerks are among the ranks of all the big corps (and small ones too). However, given the opportunity, there are plenty of people who currently appear magnanimous who would relish the role of jailer over prisoner and immediately use it to their advantage. I'm one of said people and hope to be holding the hand cuffs and night stick sometime in the future TL;DR If a total douche-baginess-above replacement stat existed, NS wouldn't be any worse than the people who replaced them.
