We need to get new players to stay that should should be #1 on the list
We need to up the skills points players start out with(Just a suggestion i say 1.5 mil sp's)
We have to change pub matches so people stop getting protostomped EVERY game and add PVE(Allows for people to start working together and build up their isk and Skill points to get ready for Pubs)
I've been playing this game since beta, and I'm fed up with playing the SAME game modes over and over again. I'm fed up with all these people protostomping EVERY match because they have MILLIONS of isk and ruining the game for everyone else.(They are preventing new players from staying because all their doing is showing them what their going to be dealing with for the entire time they play dust).
PC is probably at its worst right now I would prefer to just have it removed until it's actually just one sided. I wish they Never removed the corp battlles from chromosome.
So I would rather have all this or at least PVE implemented before we get more weapons or vehicles. (Maps would also be nice)
But since probable 0 Devs are gonna read this probably nothing will change and the game will still have the same probably less players by 2.0. |

It might be hard to do but I would like to see the battle academy actually become an academy, players could check in to run squad leader for training missions. Maybe get bit of isk and SP for the trouble on a sliding scale at the end, have the noobs rank the trainer from 1-10 at the end and higher rank gets more isk/sp.

A slider would work great if multiple things were judged, as opposed to just telling someone they are generally (completely) bad or good. Like:
Logistics:---- :04 Assault :----------:10 Heavy :------- :07 Scout :-- :02

We need to increase the time the players stay in the academy and we need need to increase the player base before we can add a tier/meta based games, and I think PVE would help with that.
And with all these ~~~~~I think they will find a way to break the tier/meta based games just like they did to PC (talking about the players) |

Upping skill points will not retain new players. This is a common fallacy around here.
What will retain new players? PVE.

your right reducing the number of skills will like the gunnery skill tree in eve online you want to use a prototype weapon like the Prototype rail rifle you have to qualify for rail specialization ect. also reducing the base cost of the skill system to 5,000 will also help.

I was thinking running specific classes like, Logi 101, Everyone spawns to designated training grounds in in a basic logi suit w hives, injector, repper then the trainer runs them through what's what.
Infiltration Basics: start w a scout suit, SG, cloak and uplinks, trainer can explain how to the combo of cover and cloak and make the recruits make it from one end of a given area to the other without getting spotted by drones and then drop an uplink.

A nice thing would be a help chat channel for new players like in Eve.
Is Dust University still out there doing what Eve university is doing for Eve pilots ??? Did you support them ??? If not why don't you start this again and actually help new players?
PVE is a great idea but i think it will be boring and not attract new players to stay.
Gear restriction has no place in eve universe. The economy is doing that and the economy has to be fixed asap.

Well, there is the Learning Coalition chat channel, that all players are welcome to join. All they need to do is join the channel and ask for some help. Most of the time someone will teach a newberry about what they ask about. It's pretty good for getting the basics, but if they need more specialized help they need to find a specialized training corp (The Learning Coalition does include some of these).
I've played since some point in the open beta (I don't know what build it was), and I only recently started to check out the community. It really does improve the DUST experience to see what the community has to offer, as well as to squad up. Most newberries don't know that, I sure as heck didn't.
I don't care how many times I burn 'cause a swarm threw me sideways, I'm learning to fly this dropship.

Although I like PVE, I have no problem against proto bears. A milita player can take down one, either learn the EVE ways like everyone else, or go back to CoD

Besides, everybody knows that EVE players are the best. Right? I mean, click and point in Spaaace. What's not to like? Spreadsheets with a space ship for a UI for one, but that's just me being picky.
I do love the Pod Peeps though. Gankers, scammers and thieves one and all. Funny, they want us to trust them and do it the EVE way. Well, EVE ain't F2P. Is it?

I like the idea of having vets go into academy as trainers. I suggest having it so any new player when they start an academy match gets automatically put in a squad at the start and kicked at the end. Normal players with mics are the leaders and they choose this from an new option on battle finder. The squad leader should not De able to call in their standard fits, they operate a drone with unlimited hp and no weapons, which can fly up to get a birds eye view of the battlefield. This done has an automatic squad defend doughnut around it and the squad leader can also place secondary attack/capture/defend etc orders as well as the permanent defend order. Payout at the end of the match follows the same function of wp as in public for the squad leader (wp only comes from squad orders), times by a multiplier. This is decided by a combination of all time and single match ratings (at the end of match everyone in squad gets a slider in victory/defeat box, where they rate the squad leader. If the all time rating is below 0.5 they are not allowed to lead in academy again. However every week approx 5 or to high votes are automatically added so people can get a second chance. However if they are again below 0.5 they get no chance and no votes added.
academy should also be increased to at least 25000wp

Yes to PVE. And what do people mean by Protostomp? My Pro Scout has less HP than militia suits. My Logi keeps my sq alive. Everything else I can deal with, but dont lump all the suits together.

I like the idea of the academy being a room with 1 uplink with infinite spawns. The match starts when a whistle blows and the newbs spawn on the uplink which is instant spawns while simultaneously getting spawn camped by proto bears.
Any ideas on improving this idea are valued, maybe we could have 24 a side for this. Let me know.

id prefer that you just increase the amount of wp required to exit the academy like 5000 wp and the rest of the game modes become available 10000 and acadamy is removed

Technical solutions:
Remove all textures, put everyone on a flat grey surface with a blue sky box. The sky box can have pretty colors but nothing that requires more than two textures. Also, all the Mercs must use the same suit. At least the depiction of the suit is identical versus showing a Heavy or a Scout. So ... Caldari Assault suits for all. Which would be ironic because CCP/Shanghai has proven their dislike of them many times.
Also all guns shoot invisible bullets. Much like swarms do unless you are exactly the correct angle to see the missile tracks. Otherwise they just hit the target with no actual clue as to where they came from. Very confusing to vets. No vehicles would solve that problem, no sense in confusing the New Belles*. Also, remove AV.
Okay, that might make it more likely. Although whether it would be possible would best be left to CCP/Shanghai. And, hopefully, they are really busy fixing bugs. Hah! Everybody knows they are getting ready for fan fest.
